Production is underway on Season 2 of Overcompensating, the A24 and Amazon MGM Studios comedy series from creator Benito Skinner. Prime Video has announced the full cast, with several new faces joining the returning ensemble.
Who returns for Season 2 of ‘Overcompensating’?
Skinner returns as Benny alongside series regulars Wally Baram as Carmen, Mary Beth Barone as Grace, Adam DiMarco as Peter and Rish Shah as Miles. Holmes also returns as a series regular, reprising her role as Hailee. She had a recurring role in Season 1.

Joining in recurring roles are Tom Francis as Declan Bishop, Aisha Dee as Naomi and AnnaSophia Robb as Chels.

What is ‘Overcompensating’ about?
According to the official description, the series is “a college-set ensemble comedy about the wild, chaotic journey of Benny (Skinner), a closeted former football player and homecoming king, as he becomes fast friends with Carmen (Baram), a high school outsider on a mission to fit in at all costs. With guidance from Benny’s older sister and her campus-legend boyfriend, Benny and Carmen juggle horrible hookups, flavored vodka, and fake IDs.”
The series is created, written and executive produced by Skinner, with Scott King serving as showrunner. Jonah Hill, Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin executive produce for Strong Baby. A24, Josh Bachove, Daniel Gray Longino and Charli XCX also executive produce. Produced by A24 and Amazon MGM Studios.
A premiere date for Season 2 has not yet been announced.
