‘Fallout’ Season 3 Adds Manny Jacinto, Thomasin McKenzie And Emily Mortimer

Prime Video has announced that Emily Mortimer, Manny Jacinto and Thomasin McKenzie have joined the cast of Fallout Season 3, with production beginning in Los Angeles this month.

The additions follow the previously announced casting of Aaron Paul, whose role remains under wraps. Paul’s casting marks a reunion with executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, who worked with him on the final season of Westworld, as noted by Variety.

What do we know about ‘Fallout’ Season 3?

Plot details are being kept close. On location, Todd Howard told Collider that “geography plays such a part into the world of Fallout. There’s a lot of land out there. There’s a lot of places to explore yet.” Showrunner Geneva Robertson-Dworet told GamesRadar that there will be “new creatures” to look forward to.

On pacing, Nolan told IGN, as reported by GamesRadar, “I think what’s happened with television in terms of taking longer and longer from season to season is an unfortunate trend. You don’t want the show to lose any of its scope, so we like to be back on the air as soon as we can.”

Who stars in ‘Fallout’ Season 3?

The core cast members of Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten and Walton Goggins return alongside Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Frances Turner, Annabel O’Hagan and Dave Register, the latter two having been promoted to series regulars. Mortimer, Jacinto and McKenzie join in roles not yet disclosed.

The series has surpassed 100 million viewers worldwide across its first two seasons, with both seasons ranking in the top four most-watched seasons of all time on Prime Video. Nolan, Lisa Joy and Athena Wickham executive produce for Kilter Films, with Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serving as creators, executive producers and showrunners.

When does ‘Fallout’ Season 3 premiere?

A premiere date has not yet been announced. Based on production timelines, a late 2027 release is widely expected.
