Project Runway is soon back for Season 22 with its biggest cast ever, a new recurring judge and a guest judge roster that spans Ice Spice to Iman. The trailer is out now ahead of the July premiere.
What’s new in ‘Project Runway’ Season 22?
For the first time, 22 designers will compete simultaneously, the most in the show’s history. Supermodel and entrepreneur Tyra Banks joins as a recurring judge alongside returning judges Heidi Klum, Law Roach and Nina Garcia, with Christian Siriano back as mentor.
Guest judges this season include Ciara, Fausto Puglisi, Ice Spice, Iman, Kiernan Shipka, Niecy Nash, Nina Dobrev, Sergio Hudson, Willy Chavarria and Winnie Harlow. Cameos this season include Becca Bloom, Hannah Berner, Molly Rogers, Nara Smith, Nicky Campbell and Paige DeSorbo. The Dancing with the Stars cast also hits the runway, with appearances from Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten, Val Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson, Emma Slater, Ezra Sosa, Britt Stewart and Julianne Hough.
Project Runway is produced by Spyglass Media Group and Alfred Street Industries. Michael Rucker serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Gary Barber, Sean Hoagland, Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Nan Strait and Dan Volpe, among others. Klum, Siriano and Garcia executive produce with Roach as co-executive producer.

Project Runway Season 22 premieres July 9 at 9:30 p.m. ET on Freeform, streaming shortly after on Hulu and Disney+, with weekly airings to follow.
