Lionsgate has released a new trailer for Fall 2: Deadpoint, the sequel to the 2022 survival thriller Fall, with a fresh cast and a new location.
The sequel reunites original writer and director Scott Mann and co-writer Jonathan Frank as screenwriters, with Mann also producing, though directing duties pass to the Spierig Brothers, Michael and Peter.The handoff was announced in May 2024, with the project greenlit alongside a third Fall film that Mann will write and direct, per Variety.
What is ‘Fall 2: Deadpoint’ about?
According to the official description, the film follows “two climbers” on “a perilous climb across Thailand’s Mount Kwan” who “become trapped thousands of feet above the ground, where vertigo-inducing heights, sheer exposure, and impossible odds turn every moment into a fight for survival.”
Who stars in ‘Fall 2: Deadpoint’?
Harriet Slater leads alongside Arsema Thomas and Tom Brittney. James Harris, Mark Lane, Mann, David Haring and Christian Mercuri produce. The Lionsgate film is produced by Tea Shop Productions, Capstone Pictures and Flawless Productions.
