Aldis Hodge and Wunmi Mosaku have been cast in One Night Out, an upcoming thriller set at Prime Video from Amazon MGM Studios’ Orion Pictures. Deadline broke the news of the film, which will be directed by George Tillman Jr.
According to Deadline, the film “follows a married couple with marital issues who leave a babysitter at home with their three kids during a rare night out. When they see someone in their house on the nanny cam, the night goes horribly awry, and they must race home and work together to save their kids.”
Nelson Greaves wrote the script, adapting his own short story, and Lauren Schuker Blum and Rebecca Angelo contributed revisions.
Tillman said, “I’ve wanted to work with Aldis and Wunmi for years. We’ve talked in the past about collaborating, but I’ve been looking for the right project for us to do together, and I’m very happy we found it in One Night Out.” Tillman directs and produces with Bob Teitel.
Hodge currently stars in and executive produces Prime Video’s Cross, which has been renewed for a third season. He’ll next appear opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in Road House 2 for Amazon MGM.
Mosaku can be currently seen in The Social Reckoning, which is in theaters, and will star in Idris Elba’s This Is How It Goes at Apple TV.
