Robin Givens has joined the recurring cast of Prime Video’s Cross for Season 3.
Deadline exclusively reported the news. Givens will play Senator Mulrooney, “an intellectual conservative, overbearing both as a parent and a partner. She is the wife of a doctor and the mother of a son, whose problems the Senator keeps a closely guarded secret.”
Givens joins previously announced Season 3 cast addition Ron Perlman, who plays Officer Herschel Zamora. The series stars Aldis Hodge as Alex Cross, “a brilliant homicide detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the minds of serial killers in order to identify and catch them,” per the official description.
Givens recently recurred in Prime Video’s Harlem and starred as a series regular on Batwoman. She has also recently stepped behind the camera, directing episodes of So Help Me Todd, Elsbeth and Best Medicine.
Cross is created by showrunner Ben Watkins and produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Paramount Television Studios.
