Ron Perlman has joined the cast of Prime Video’s Cross for Season 3, playing Herschel Zamora. The role marks a reunion with showrunner Ben Watkins, with whom Perlman previously worked on Hand of God.
Who will Ron Perlman play in ‘Cross’?
According to the official description, Perlman’s character “is a cop first and everything else second. Following a series of troubling work-related incidents, Officer Zamora is referred to Dr. Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge) for therapy. As Cross digs deeper, he realizes Zamora may be concealing something far more troubling than PTSD.”
What is ‘Cross’ about?
Based on characters created by James Patterson, the series follows Alex Cross, “a brilliant homicide detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the minds of serial killers in order to identify and catch them.”
Cross is created by showrunner Ben Watkins and produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Paramount Television Studios. Hodge stars and also executive produces alongside Watkins, Craig Siebels, Patterson, J. David Shanks, Aiyana White, Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, Leah Benavides Rodriguez, Carlito Rodriguez, Owen Shiflett, Bill Robinson and Patrick Santa.
A potential premiere window for Season 3 has not yet been announced.
