Sullivan’s Crossing is returning for a fifth season on The CW, the network announced. The 10-episode season is set to debut in 2027, following a previously confirmed renewal by Bell Media’s CTV and Crave and Fremantle.
Creator and executive producer Roma Roth said in a statement, “I could not be more excited that Sullivan’s Crossing will be returning for its fifth season. From the beginning, my goal was to create a long-running series that would resonate deeply with a global audience, and I’m thrilled that our fans have supported us every step of the way.” Roth also confirmed that Floyd Kane is joining Season 5 as head writer, while she continues to expand her work with Robyn Carr’s book series.
What happened in Season 4 of ‘Sullivan’s Crossing’?
According to the official description, Season 4 finds Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan) feeling like “life at the Crossing is falling into place, having embraced a new direction for her career and renewed her commitment to Cal (Chad Michael Murray). But when Maggie’s ex-husband, Liam (Marcus Rosner), arrives with a shocking revelation, her world is thrown into turmoil once again — leaving Cal questioning whether Maggie can ever truly leave her past behind.”
The Season 4 finale aired June 22 on The CW. Season-to-date, the series averages more than 1 million cross-platform viewers per episode, with linear viewership up 62% among adults 18-49 and total viewers up 30%.
Sullivan’s Crossing is executive produced by Roma Roth and Christopher E. Perry alongside Aren Prupas for Muse Entertainment, in association with Bell Media, The CW and Fremantle. Author Robyn Carr also executive produces. The series is distributed internationally by Fremantle.
