‘Big Brother Canada’ Is Returning: Everything To Know About The Series’ Revival

, ,

Bell Media has ordered a new season of iconic reality competition series Big Brother Canada for Crave and CTV, while also acquiring future seasons of the U.S.’s Big Brother for Canadian audiences. The deal marks a revival for Big Brother Canada, which ran for 12 seasons on Global before Corus Entertainment cancelled the series in June 2024 following declining ratings on Season 12.

Big Brother Canada is set to begin production Spring 2027 in Montréal, produced by Entourage, the team behind the French-language Big Brother Célébrités. Andrea Bain, co-host of CTV’s The Social, is confirmed as host, replacing longtime host Arisa Cox. Casting details will be announced at a later date.

Justin Stockman, VP of Global Content at Bell Media, said in a statement: “Big Brother is one of the most iconic formats around the world and we are thrilled to have it take up residency at Bell Media. We look forward to delivering Canadian audiences more of the eventful and unforgettable competitive social gameplay they love with a new season of Big Brother Canada.”

Alongside the new season order, Bell Media acquires the Canadian series’ back catalogue, with all 12 seasons available to stream on Crave. The French-language Big Brother Célébrités also streams on Crave.

For Entourage, Eric Young and Nathalie Brigitte Bustos executive produce, with Mathieu Ouellet as showrunner and France Racine as producer.
