Tracee Ellis Ross is back on the road. The Roku Channel has released the official trailer for Season 2 of Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross, with Ross heading to Australia, Thailand and Switzerland this season.
Season 2 follows the show’s record-breaking first season, which became the most-watched unscripted Roku Original ever, as Variety reported.
When the renewal was announced, Ross said, “‘Solo Traveling With Tracee Ellis Ross’ is the No. 1 unscripted show in Roku history, and now we get to do it all again with a Season 2! The way the show is resonating feels truly special — all of the comments, the conversations, the connection… my cup runneth over,” per Variety.
Season 1 followed Ross through Morocco, Mexico and Spain. Speaking to W Magazine ahead of Season 1, Ross spoke about her history with solo travel, noting that she discovered on her first solo trip in her twenties that she is responsible for her own happiness — a philosophy that runs through the series. Ross described the show’s premise in her own words: “This is me enjoying my own company while I immerse, unplug, and indulge out in the world.”
As for Season 2, per the official description, “Tracee Ellis Ross is an award-winning actress, producer, founder of PATTERN Beauty, and fashion icon. And she’s back, packing her bags and inviting audiences to join her solo trips to Australia, Thailand, and Switzerland to experience the joy of solo travel. “This is me enjoying my own company while I immerse, unplug, and indulge out in the world.”
