Prime Video brought both Reacher and its spinoff Neagley to San Diego Comic-Con’s on Saturday, debuting the official trailer for Reacher Season 4 and the first teaser for Neagley, alongside announcements, including Alan Ritchson revealing that Reacher Season 5 will be based on Make Me, the 20th novel in Lee Child’s series.
What happens in ‘Reacher’ Season 4?
According to the official description, Season 4 is based on the 13th book in Child’s series, Gone Tomorrow. “When a chance encounter with a distraught stranger on a subway goes horribly wrong, Jack Reacher (Ritchson) is drawn into a complex and deadly game that pits him against ruthless foes from the highest echelons of power.” New cast members this season include Sydelle Noel, Chris Marquette, Agnez Mo, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan and Kathleen Robertson.
What is ‘Neagley’ about?
As previously reported, Neagley follows Frances Neagley (Sten), “a private investigator in Chicago and former military protégé of Jack Reacher in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice.” Sten leads alongside Greyston Holt, Adeline Rudolph, Jasper Jones, Matthew Del Negro and Damon Herriman, with Ritchson guest starring as Reacher.
Both series are produced by Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios, with Nick Santora serving as showrunner and executive producer on both.
When do ‘Reacher’ Season 4 and ‘Neagley’ premiere?
Reacher Season 4 premieres Aug. 12 on Prime Video with three episodes, followed by weekly releases through Sept. 16. All eight episodes of Neagley drop Sept. 16, upon the Reacher Season 4 finale.
