Prime Video has cast Molly Griggs, Matthew Noszka and Tommy Martinez to lead Things We Never Got Over, its series adaptation of Lucy Score’s bestselling novel, which now in production.
Griggs plays twin sisters Naomi Witt and Tina Witt, Noszka plays Knox Morgan, and Martinez plays Nash Morgan.
What is ‘Things We Never Got Over’ about?
The description reads, “When runaway bride Naomi Witt (Griggs) arrives in the quirky town of Knockemout, Virginia, she expects to rescue her estranged twin (Griggs) and return to the life she left behind. Instead, her sister disappears, leaving Naomi with a niece she never knew existed, a town full of irresistible characters — including charming local sheriff Nash Morgan (Martinez) and his decidedly grumpy but infuriatingly sexy brother Knox Morgan (Noszka) — and a future she never imagined.”
Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder wrote the pilot and serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. Gina Girolamo executive produces through her Strega Stories banner, with Score serving as co-executive producer. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios.
Things We Never Got Over, the first book Score’s Knockemout trilogy, spent 32 consecutive weeks on the New York Times bestseller list and was one of the most-read titles on Kindle Unlimited following its 2022 release, with sequels completing the trilogy in 2023.
