Paramount+ and Nickelodeon have released the official trailer for Avatar: Seven Havens, following up on the premiere date and first teaser revealed during the Avatar franchise’s first-ever Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con this summer. The series is the latest entry in the Avatar universe, which began with Avatar: The Last Airbender in 2005 and continued with The Legend of Korra from 2012 to 2014 and the recent Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender film this year.
What is ‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ about?
As the synopsis notes, “Set in a world shattered by a devastating cataclysm, Avatar: Seven Havens follows Pavi, a young Earthbender who discovers she’s the new Avatar after Korra, only to find that in this dangerous era, that title marks her as humanity’s destroyer, not its savior. Hunted by both human and spirit enemies, Pavi and her long-lost twin Nisha must uncover their mysterious origins and save the Seven Havens before civilization’s last strongholds collapse.”
Who stars in ‘Avatar: Seven Havens’?
Saheli Khan voices Pavi, alongside Aishu Devan as Nisha, Akshay Khanna as Karthik, Major Curda as Jae, Sakina Jaffrey as Agam, Darren Barnet as Daemin, Dianne Doan as Zi, and Dee Bradley Baker as Geet and Ruhi. Baker previously voiced Appa and Momo across the original Avatar: The Last Airbender animated series.
Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko co-created the series and executive produce. Ethan Spaulding also executive produces, with Sehaj Sethi serving as co-executive producer. The series is produced by Avatar Studios and Nickelodeon Animation Studios.
