Anna Camp, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Finn Jones and Martin Marquez will star in the New York premiere of 2:22 – A Ghost Story, the Olivier Award-nominated stage thriller set to begin performances in October, Off-Broadway at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

Camp will play Lauren, alongside Cephas Jones as Jenny, Finn Jones as Sam and Marquez as Ben. The role marks Finn Jones’ New York stage debut.
What is ‘2:22 – A Ghost Story’ about?
Per the official description, “the exhilarating and brilliantly funny 2:22 – A Ghost Story draws New York audiences into an adrenaline-fueled night where secrets will emerge and ghosts may appear. Jenny believes her new home is haunted, but her husband Sam isn’t having any of it. When their friends Lauren and Ben come around for a housewarming dinner, a stirring debate ensues — can the dead really walk again? Belief and skepticism clash, but lingering beneath the argument is something strange and frightening…and that something is getting closer. So they’re going to stay up… until 2:22… and dare to discover the truth.”
Danny Robins wrote the play, with Matthew Dunster and Gabriel Vega Weissman co-directing the New York production. The creative team includes set design by Anna Fleischle, costume design by Cindy Lin, lighting design by Lucy Carter, sound design by Ian Dickinson for Autograph Sound, and illusions by Chris Fisher. Casting is by Caparelliotis Casting, with Wagner Johnson Productions serving as general manager.
Tristan Baker and Charlie Parsons produce for Runaway Entertainment, alongside Isobel David and Kater Gordon, by special arrangement with the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
Since premiering in London’s West End in 2021, the play has become a global stage sensation, breaking box office records for a new play at the Noël Coward Theatre during its first engagement. Starring Lily Allen, Julia Chan, Hadley Fraser and Jake Wood, the original production received an Olivier Award nomination and won the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Play. It went on to feature actors including Tom Felton, Sophia Bush, Cheryl, Matt Willis, Stephanie Beatriz, Mandip Gill, Laura Whitmore and Stacey Dooley.

2:22 – A Ghost Story begins previews Tuesday, Oct. 20, and opens Thursday, Nov. 5, for a 13-week limited engagement through Sunday, Jan. 17, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
