Netflix has announced four new cast additions to One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta, the third season of its live-action adaptation, revealed on One Piece Day. Season 3 production has wrapped in Cape Town, South Africa.
Who is joining the cast of ‘One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta’?
Emilio Sakraya joins as Koza, Omid Abtahi as Toto, Jamie Ward as Pell and Nabeel Khan as Chaka, all in recurring guest roles.
They join previously announced Season 3 additions Cole Escola as Bon Clay, Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace, Daisy Head as Miss Doublefinger and Awdo Awdo as Mr. 1. Additional cast will be announced at a later date.
What is ‘One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta’ about?
Per the official description, “after entering the treacherous Grand Line, war is coming for Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat crew in the desert kingdom of Alabasta, Princess Vivi’s homeland. A rebellion threatens to tear the nation apart, fueled in secret by one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, the ruthless Sir Crocodile, and his underground syndicate Baroque Works, who seek to conquer Alabasta for themselves. In a season defined by unbreakable bonds and impossible choices, the Straw Hats must face a brewing civil war and a powerful warlord to save Vivi’s kingdom before it crumbles into the sand.”

The Season 3 cast includes the original Straw Hat crew: Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp and Taz Skylar as Sanji. They’re joined by Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, Mikaela Hoover as Chopper, Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0, Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday and Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra.
Who is behind ‘One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta’?
Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes serve as co-showrunners, writers and executive producers. Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements executive produce through Tomorrow Studios, alongside Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe and Steven Maeda. The series was created in partnership with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios, an ITV Studios partner, and Netflix.
