Lucien Laviscount and Taylour Paige have been set set to topline Tyler Perry’s Confabulation, a new Netflix thriller written and directed by Perry, with Shamier Anderson also starring.
Per the description on Netflix’s Tudum, “In Tyler Perry’s Confabulation, a troubled firefighter becomes obsessed with saving the woman he once loved from her powerful husband. But as he digs deeper into her marriage, his own fractured memories begin to collide with the present, forcing him to confront a terrifying possibility: the rescue he’s risking everything to carry out may not be what it seems.”
Additional cast members include Nadine Ellis, Peter Parros, Najah Bradley, Mikeal Dwayne Griggs, Jenna Nolen, Michelle Núñez, Colin McCalla and Shelley Robertson.
This marks the latest project from Perry’s creative partnership with Netflix, which sees him write, direct and produce films and series for the streamer. His most recent film, Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Again?, dropped earlier this month, and the next one, Tyler Perry’s Doing Life, premieres Oct. 2.
