Netflix has released first-look images for Season 2 of The Hunting Wives, with the series set to premiere in November.
Brittany Snow, Malin Åkerman, Dermot Mulroney, Jaime Ray Newman, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez and Hunter Emery return as series regulars.
New cast members include John Stamos as Chase Brylan, Dale Dickey as Zelda Moffitt, Cam Gigandet as Gentle John Moffitt, Kim Matula as Nadia Kelly and Alex Fitzalan as Lincoln Trout. Branton Box and Angel Reese also join the cast.
What is ‘The Hunting Wives’ Season 2 about?
Per the official description, “At the start of Season 2, Sophie and Margo are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises. Are they the hunters or the hunted?”
The new photos show Sophie (Snow) and Margo’s (Åkerman) chemistry intensifying, Jed Banks (Mulroney) running for governor, and Deputy Salazar (Rodriguez) chasing a new case, according to Netflix’s Tudum. The images also show Sophie standing near the car she used to fatal effect at the end of Season 1, and Graham (Jonigkeit) sporting a new mustache.
Åkerman shared her excitement about returning to Texas for the new season on Instagram last year, writing, “Hold on to your wigs…we have officially started shooting season 2!!! And y’all are not gonna be disappointed.”
Rebecca Cutter serves as creator, showrunner, writer and executive producer. Erwin Stoff executive produces for 3 Arts Entertainment, alongside May Cobb, author of the novel on which the series is based. The series is produced by Lionsgate Television.
