Halloween Time, Plaza De La Familia Return To Disneyland Resort

Disneyland Resort has kicked off Halloween Time and Plaza de la Familia, bringing new character looks, food and entertainment across the parks through early November.

What’s new for Halloween Time at Disneyland?

Halloween Time runs through Oct. 31 and features new Halloween looks for Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their friends, with harlequin-inspired motifs, frilled collars and cuffs and swirling confectionery details.

Inside Haunted Mansion Holiday, guests can see a new gingerbread house marking 25 years of the attraction’s holiday desserts, designed as what the resort describes as “a delightfully monstrous music box.” New food items include buffalo chicken ranch pull-apart bread, alongside new merchandise like the Vampire Mickey Mouse popcorn bucket and Coco Lantern sipper, both available starting Sept. 3.

Guests can also take part in Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, a scavenger hunt for themed pumpkins hidden throughout Disneyland, California Adventure and Downtown Disney, with maps available for purchase at select retail locations and redeemable for a keepsake prize.

What is Plaza de la Familia at Disneyland?

Plaza de la Familia returns to Disney California Adventure through Nov. 2, featuring live entertainment, festive décor and Mexican-inspired cuisine honoring Día de los Muertos, including the Nuez gelatina cake.

What other fall entertainment is at Disneyland Resort?

Seasonal entertainment includes the “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” daytime show at Disney California Adventure and the “Halloween Screams” nighttime fireworks show on select nights at Disneyland. Returning overlays include Haunted Mansion Holiday, Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween, Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree and Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark.

The separately ticketed Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party also returns to Disney California Adventure on select nights through Oct. 31, with tickets already on sale.

New holiday décor inspired by Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. has arrived at Pixar Place Hotel, alongside returning confectionery displays at Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Downtown Disney District also features seasonal décor, food, shopping, movie nights and live entertainment.

Families can still take advantage of the Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer, which provides $50 one-day Park Hopper tickets for children ages 3 to 9 through Sept. 7.
