‘Frisco King’ First Look Images: Samuel L. Jackson In Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Tulsa King’ Spinoff

,

Paramount+ has released first-look images for Frisco King, the Taylor Sheridan-created Tulsa King spinoff that follows Russell Lee Washington Jr., the hitman Samuel L. Jackson introduced as a guest star during Tulsa King Season 3.

The series follows Lee after he turns down an order to kill Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone), instead heading to Frisco, Texas, to build a new life and business.

The spinoff itself was previously in development under the title NOLA King, a nod to Lee’s roots in New Orleans.

Who stars in ‘Frisco King’?

Jackson leads the cast, alongside Asa Germann, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate and Savanna Gann.

Germann plays Teddy, described as “a sharp, savvy, entrepreneurial college dropout who gets Lee’s attention.” Caster plays Keith, “a polite valet at the local Sandman Hotel.” Pate plays London, “a local cheerleading goddess recruited by Lee, who’s not afraid to use her good looks to get what she wants.” Gann plays Avery, “a fellow cheerleader and friend of London’s who’s also recruited to join Lee’s crew.”

Sheridan is writing every episode of the eight-episode first season and executive producing alongside Stallone and Jackson, along with David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, LaTanya Richardson Jackson and Keith Cox. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios. Production took place in Fort Worth, Texas, starting in March 2026.

A premiere date hasn’t been announced yet.
