Two Paramount films from 2023 are making their free streaming debuts on Pluto TV on June 1. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will both be available on demand at no cost starting that date.
About ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis and Hugh Grant. Per the official description, the film follows “a charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers on an epic quest to recover a lost relic — only for things to go dangerously wrong when they cross the wrong people.” Directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, the film earned an A- CinemaScore on release and grossed $208 million worldwide.
About Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem follows “the Turtle brothers as they attempt to win the hearts of New Yorkers while taking on a mysterious army of mutants.” Directed by Jeff Rowe, the film was notable for casting actual teenagers to voice Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael for the first time.
Speaking with Screen Rant at San Diego Comic-Con, Rowe said the visual approach started “from this place of wanting to make it look like teenage drawings” with “a bizarre shape language and broken perspective,” adding: “We wanted to not shy away from that and hopefully give a new generation of fans the same ‘I can’t believe I’m getting away with this’ excitement that it brought me when I was a kid.” The film features the voices of Ayo Edebiri, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, John Cena and Ice Cube. A sequel is currently in development.
