The original cast of the Taylor Sheridan-produced Landman series has successfully negotiated significant raises ahead of Season 3 of the Paramount+ series, Deadline reports exclusively.
Demi Moore, whose original contract was shorter than the norm at two years, has signed a new deal bringing her to salary parity with lead Billy Bob Thornton, with both now earning in the $740K-$770K per episode range, per Deadline. Thornton, meanwhile, has a separate three-year deal with standard year-to-year increases and would be up for a new contract if the show goes to Season 4.
Ali Larter took the longest to close, not reaching an agreement until recently, according to Deadline. She more than doubled her most recent per-episode salary, going north of $350K per episode.
Breakouts Jacob Lofland and Michelle Randolph are going up to $130K-$180K per episode next season, per Deadline. Paulina Chavez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie and James Jordan are believed to be under that range, all landing significant percentage raises off a more modest base.
As Deadline notes, contract renegotiations after Season 2 are now rare in the industry, reserved for only the biggest hits. Landman is one of the biggest streaming shows out, with its latest premiere drawing 9.2 million streaming views in its first 48 hours, becoming the most-watched premiere for an original series on Paramount+, while the Season 2 finale rose to 14.8 million views within two days, making it the most-watched original series finale ever on the platform.
