Disney has released the official trailer for Camp Rock 3, 18 years after the original film debuted. As we previously reported, the film premieres Aug. 13 on Disney Channel and streams on Disney+ the following day.
What is ‘Camp Rock 3’ about?
According to the official description, “When Connect 3 loses their opening act for a major reunion tour, they return to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing. As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested — leading to unexpected alliances, revelations, and romances.”
Who stars in ‘Camp Rock 3’?
Joining the franchise are Liamani Segura as Sage, Malachi Barton as Fletch, Lumi Pollack as Rosie, Sherry Cola as Lark, Hudson Stone as Desi, Casey Trotter as Cliff, Brooklynn Pitts as Callie and Ava Jean as Madison. Returning cast members include Joe Jonas as Shane Gray, Nick Jonas as Nate Gray, Kevin Jonas as Jason Gray and Maria Canals-Barrera as Connie.
The film is directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye. Tim Federle executive produces alongside Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas, Demi Lovato, Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman and Gary Marsh. Jamal Sims is the choreographer.
Several cast members will also be hitting the road this fall as part of the Worlds Collide Concert Tour with cast members from this film, and the Descendants and Zombies franchises, visiting 49 arenas across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, with an additional 11 shows in the U.K. and Europe in 2027.
