Amy Poehler-Hugh Laurie Peacock Comedy ‘Dig’ Drops First Images, Reveals Premiere Date

Peacock has revealed first-look images and a premiere date for Dig, a new comedy starring Amy Poehler and Hugh Laurie that reunites Poehler with Parks and Recreation executive producer Michael Schur.

What is ‘Dig’ about?

Per the series description: “A team of dedicated archaeologists (and less-dedicated college students) spend their summer working on a dig site in Greece. Their discovery of a rare artifact sends them on the adventure of a lifetime.”

Who stars in ‘Dig’?

Poehler and Laurie lead as series regulars alongside Geraldine Viswanathan, Antonia Thomas and Fina Strazza. Kayvan Novak, Jon Pointing and Bonita Friedericy appear in guest roles.

Michael Schur and J.J. Philbin serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. Poehler, Morgan Sackett, Dean Holland, Kate Arend and Jordan Grief also executive produce for Paper Kite, along with Dave Becky and David Miner for 3 Arts and Sharon Jackson for Ocean Avenue. The series is produced by Fremulon, Paper Kite, Duck Duck Films, Dunshire, 3 Arts and Ocean Avenue for Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

When does ‘Dig’ premiere?

All 10 episodes of Dig will premiere Nov. 23 on Peacock.
