ABC has announced its fall 2026 premiere dates, kicking off with college football on Aug. 29 before rolling into a full fall lineup through mid-October. The network comes into the season having delivered 10 of the top 20 programs in adults 18-49 last season, more than any other broadcast network, and receiving the most Emmy nominations across broadcast networks for a second consecutive year.
Dancing with the Stars has a two-night premiere event Sept. 15-16. Scrubs and Shark Tank both kick off Wednesday nights Sept. 30 with two-episode premieres before Abbott Elementary joins the night Oct. 7. The 9-1-1 franchise, with flagship 9-1-1, spinoff 9-1-1: Nashville and Grey’s Anatomy, takes over Thursday nights starting Oct. 15.
Sunday nights return Sept. 27 with America’s Funniest Home Videos and The Wonderful World of Disney, kicking off the season with the world television premiere of Inside Out 2. Sophomore series R.J. Decker follows Dancing with the Stars on Tuesdays, and Celebrity Wheel of Fortune with Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White premieres Oct. 2 on Fridays.
New seasons of The Bachelor, High Potential, The Rookie, Shifting Gears and Will Trent, as well as the series premieres of The Rookie: North and an untitled Grey’s Anatomy spinoff, are planned for 2027. Premiere dates will be announced at a later time. All original programming streams the next day on Hulu.
