Apple TV has confirmed Silo will return for its previously announced fourth and final season in 2027, releasing a first look days after the Season 3 finale aired.
Based on Hugh Howey’s bestselling trilogy, per the official description, Season 3 “reveals an origin story set centuries earlier, while continuing the saga of a dystopian society of 10,000 people living underground under mysterious circumstances.” Per the official description, “in the present, Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) survives her forced ‘cleaning’ but returns with memory loss as the silo recovers from rebellion and faces a dangerous new threat. Meanwhile, in the ‘Before Times,’ journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) uncover a conspiracy that pulls them into a chain of events with catastrophic, irreversible consequences.”
What can fans expect from ‘Silo’ Season 4?
Showrunner Graham Yost gave a blunt preview of the final season to Deadline: “Season 4 is war. This is it. A lot of the questions have been answered. Not all. There’s some that don’t get answered until the last 10 minutes of the series, but a lot of it is just ‘How does this play out?’ And it’s not easy. There are fractures. There are big problems. There are emotional issues. People you love will not see the end. I will say that.”
Yost created the series. Yost, Michael Dinner, Nina Jack, Joanna Thapa, Ferguson, Morten Tyldum, Howey, Amber Templemore, Fred Golan and Rémi Aubuchon executive produce, alongside AMC Studios. The series is produced by Apple Studios.
When does ‘Silo’ Season 4 premiere?
