The 85 South Show is making the jump from YouTube to Tubi.
85 South Media, the Atlanta-founded company behind the comedy series starring Karlous Miller, DC Young Fly and Chico Bean, has signed a distribution deal with the free streaming service. The partnership kicks off with The Best of The 85 South Show, a collection of 10 episodes picked from the show’s run, with more content to be announced.
The series started as an independently produced comedy podcast and has since grown into the centerpiece of a larger media company. On YouTube, it has racked up more than 750 million views and 2.56 million subscribers.
85 South Media has expanded into comedy, sports, lifestyle and culture programming, as well as live events. Its 2026 slate includes the Karlous Miller Residency in Atlanta, the Pour Minds: Still Sippin’ tour and 85 South Presents: 5 On It.
“85 South started with a small team, a few microphones and a shared belief that we could build something of our own,” said Chad Oubre, CEO and co-founder of 85 South Media. “To see that grow into a full media business spanning original programming, touring, talent and distribution is something we’re incredibly proud of. The goal has always been to grow what we’ve built while creating real opportunities for new voices and ideas to scale. Expanding our distribution with Tubi is another step in that journey, allowing us to reach new audiences while continuing to build independently and alongside partners who believe in what we’re creating.”
The deal builds on an existing relationship between 85 South and Tubi. As part of a content slate Tubi announced with Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat in October 2025, the trio is set to star in 85 South: Dead End, the company’s first major feature film. Per the official description, the satirical horror-comedy follows the three on “a Southern road trip that goes awry in a mysterious town where nobody ever leaves.”
85 South: Dead End premieres on Tubi in 2027.
