NBC has revealed the 22-person cast for The Traitors: New Blood, the first all-civilian U.S. season of the acclaimed competition series, with host Alan Cumming returning to open his Scottish Highlands castle to a group selected from a nationwide search that drew more than 80,000 applicants.

The 22 players entering the castle are Abbey Benjamin, Abby Lee, Arisa Thomas, Ben McDonnell, Clyde Moser, Jay Vinnedge, Joe Vanella, Katie Fites, Kim Daily, Kriste Lewis, Logan Smith, Madeline Kostopulos, Mark Zgoda, Michael Foote, Morgan Cook, Niyyah Hayes, Shane Beatty, Sherry Kuehl, Tomica Adams, Victor Vollbrechthausen, Wyatt Gillespie and Xavier Scruggs.
What is ‘The Traitors: New Blood’ about?
Per the official description: “Set at a castle deep in the Scottish Highlands, this nail-biting psychological adventure sees contestants work together on a series of exhilarating missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000. Hidden among the Faithful are the Traitors, who murder the Faithful one-by-one under the cover of darkness as the Faithful race to uncover them from the game. At the end of the game, if the remaining Faithful banish every Traitor, they share the prize fund; if even one Traitor survives to the end, the Traitors take it all.”
Who is behind ‘The Traitors: New Blood’?
Cumming hosts and executive produces alongside Mike Cotton, Sam Rees-Jones, Rosie Franks, Jack Burgess, Stephen Lambert, Tim Harcourt and Doran Azouelos. The series is produced by Studio Lambert. The format was created and developed by IDTV in cooperation with RTL Creative Unit, and is distributed by All3Media International, part of Banijay Entertainment.
Season 4 of The Traitors recently earned six Primetime Emmy nominations, including a third consecutive nomination for Outstanding Reality Competition Program and for Cumming as Outstanding Host.
When does ‘The Traitors: New Blood’ premiere?
The Traitors: New Blood debuts with a special two-hour premiere Thursday, Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, streaming the next day on Peacock. New episodes air Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
