Hulu has released the trailer for Swipe Right on the Devil, a true crime docuseries about the disappearance of 24-year-old Sydney Loofe after a Tinder date.
Per the official synopsis, “When 24-year-old Sydney Loofe disappears after a Tinder date, what begins as a missing-person case quickly spirals into a haunting mystery. As investigators race to uncover her whereabouts, they are drawn into an astounding world of manipulation, witchcraft, mind control and black magic. Each new lead uncovers disturbing revelations, exposing behavior that shocks even seasoned FBI agents. With every answer raising new questions, Sydney’s story becomes a cautionary tale about trust, vulnerability and the hidden dangers that can lurk behind seemingly ordinary encounters, culminating in a chilling case that remains as perplexing as it is unforgettable.”
The release states that the series “follows the disappearance of 24-year-old Sydney Loofe, after a Tinder date leads investigators down a bizarre rabbit hole involving a self-proclaimed warlock attempting to build a coven of witches. As detectives dig deeper, they uncover connections to three other women entangled in a world of dark fantasies, manipulation, and witchcraft, each helping to reveal another puzzle piece of what happened to Sydney.”
Who is behind ‘Swipe Right on the Devil’?
Brian Biegel directed the series and executive produces. The series comes from Imagine Entertainment, with Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Sara Bernstein, Christopher St. John and Justin Wilkes executive producing for Imagine Documentaries. Pete Kasko executive produces for Carousel Films NYC, alongside Craig D’Entrone.
