Survivor on CBS has revealed the 21 new castaways competing on Season 51, the first installment of the show is calling its new “Open Era.”
The cast includes Aaliyah Puglia, a chef; Alexis Levine, a criminal defense attorney; An “Thien An” Nguyen, a medical student; Ana Sani, a voice actress; Angelica “Jelly” Loblack, a sociology professor; Brady Booker, a pro wrestler; Carter Krull, a livestock farmer; Cristian Chavez, head of HR; Danny “Kilby” Kilby, a game designer; and actor Devin Way.
Also competing are Eric Macksoud, a mental health counselor; Jenna Doore, a wedding photographer; Kristin Flickinger, in crisis management; Lewis Kelly, a farmer; Linnea Capobianco, an entrepreneur; Maggie Nestor, a farmer; Mike Pinsky, a baseball executive; Ori Jean-Charles, a personal trainer; Patt Cannaday, a federal prosecutor; Rob Antonson, an airline gate agent; and Sharonda Cox, an OB-GYN resident.
What is ‘Survivor’ Season 51 about?
Per the official description, Season 51 marks the first of Survivor‘s “Open Era,” in which “every twist, every idol, every advantage in the series’ history may come into play in any order and without warning.” Castaways will be stranded on the beaches of Fiji, tasked with forming a new society, adapting to their surroundings and navigating an unpredictable social game to keep their torch lit, competing for the title of Sole Survivor and the $1 million grand prize.
Beginning Sept. 30, the series shifts to 90-minute weekly episodes. Survivor is currently nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Reality Competition Program.
