World of Wonder has confirmed that the first-ever season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK All Stars will be produced in the United Kingdom, keeping the franchise’s newest spinoff on British soil ahead of its 2027 debut on WOW Presents Plus. Many international spinoffs now film in World of Wonder’s production hub in the Philippines.
World of Wonder announced Monday that the 10-episode season will take place in the U.K. The company said the decision follows the response to the show’s move to WOW Presents Plus from BBC Three for UK audiences, and that it is committing to physical production in Britain in order to celebrate “the unparalleled artistry and rich heritage of the UK drag scene directly from its home country.”
World of Wonder also thanked the U.K. fanbase, production teams, and key commercial and brand partners, saying their enthusiasm and dedication make filming in the country possible.
World of Wonder co-founders Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato said, “Thanks to the extraordinary support from our fans and brand partners, we are thrilled to confirm that RuPaul’s Drag Race UK All Stars will be produced right here in the UK. We could not be more grateful to our community for making this possible.”
RuPaul said, “Tickety-boo, babes! RuPaul’s Drag Race UK All Stars is coming to let the world know that British Queens rule. Long live the queens!”
The season will bring back alumni from across the U.K. franchise, who will compete over 10 episodes “to battle for a coveted spot in Drag Race herstory,” per World of Wonder. Season 8 of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, which will be the last to air on BBC Three in the UK, is currently airing. The series has always aired on WOW Presents Plus outside of the UK.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK All Stars will stream on WOW Presents Plus. Subscribers will also have access to the full library of all eight seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and three seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs. The World.
The series is set to premiere in autumn 2027 on WOW Presents Plus.
