Raven-Symoné and her wife Miranda Maday are set to star in a new original series for WOW Presents Plus, the streaming platform from World of Wonder. Ahead of the series, the couple will take over WOW Presents Plus programming for a week.
In a statement, Symoné and Maday said, “Strap in — the lesbians are taking over! As longtime fans of World of Wonder, we are thrilled to collaborate with WOW Presents Plus. Lesbian visibility in media is vital, and being able to bring our authentic selves and our love to these incredible shows is such a fun way to celebrate our community.”
World of Wonder co-founders Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato added, “Raven has been a beloved part of the World of Wonder family for years, and we’re so excited to continue collaborating with them and their wife Miranda. Watching them hijack shows on WOW Presents Plus is just a hilarious first taste of what’s to come from this new creative partnership.”
What does the WOW Presents Plus takeover include?
The takeover includes Symoné and Maday competing in a special episode of Couple$ for Ca$h, a special episode of Binge Queens discussing Raven’s cameo in Stop! That! Train!, a lesbian history edition of Wait, What?, and a special episode of Fashion Photo Ruview where the couple judges looks from the current season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Starsalongside hosts Raja and Raven.
When does the Raven-Symoné and Miranda Maday WOW Presents Plus takeover begin?
The takeover begins June 29 on WOW Presents Plus and the WOW Presents YouTube channel. A premiere date for their new original series has not yet been announced.
