Percy Jackson and the Olympians is returning for its third season on Nov. 20 on Disney+, with the announcement made during the show’s third consecutive Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Season 3 adapts The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan’s bestselling series, marking the first time the novel has come to screen.
Fans in the room were surprised with a screening of the opening act of the Season 3 premiere episode, teed up with a video message from Leah Sava Jeffries, who is currently overseas filming The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen. After the panel, a teaser was released as well.
What happens in Season 3 of ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’?
According to the official description, “the stakes are higher than ever before as Percy is faced with the sudden disappearance of Annabeth and the impending Great Prophecy provided by the Oracle of Delphi, dictating the fate of Olympus. As foretold by the Oracle of Delphi, one demigod child of the ‘Big Three’ is fated to raise Olympus to new heights or bring it crashing into ruin, with their own life hanging in the balance.”
Who stars in Season 3 of ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’?
Walker Scobell, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Tamara Smart and Levi Chrisopulos start with Jeffries in the series. The series is created by Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg, with Steinberg, Dan Shotz and Craig Silverstein executive producing alongside Riordan, Rebecca Riordan, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Jeremy Bell, Bert Salke and James Bobin, among others.
