‘Law & Order,’ ‘Law & Order: SVU’ Casts Celebrate Reopening Of Dun Dun Diner In NYC Ahead Of Premieres

NBC reopened the Law & Order-themed ‘Dun Dun Diner’ at Rockefeller Center in New York City with an “After Dark” party on Oct. 7 for cast members and celebrity guests. Este Haim DJ’d the event, which came ahead of the new seasons of Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU.

Who attended the ‘Dun Dun Diner’ reopening?

Attendees included Law & Order cast members Mariska Hargitay, Tony Goldwyn, Ice-T, Aimé Donna Kelly, Peter Scanavino, Odelya Halevi, Corey Cott, Kevin Kane, Octavio Pisano, Natalee Linez and David Ajala. Lena Waithe was also on hand, along with other guests.

Haim performed a DJ set and the party served as a VIP preview of the limited-run pop-up, which opens to fans with reservations Oct. 9 through Oct. 10 at Bill’s Bar & Burger.

What’s on the ‘Dun Dun Diner’ menu?

Guests got a first taste of dishes from this year’s Elite Squad partners: Ess-a-Bagel, Katz’s Deli, Magnolia Bakery and Serendipity3. Per the release, the specialty items fans can order are:

• “Lox & Order,” from Ess-a-Bagel: “An Ess-a-Bagel everything bagel stacked with plain cream cheese, nova, cucumber, fresh dill and a squeeze of lemon.”
• “The Benson,” from Katz’s Deli: “A Katz’s pastrami piled on seedless rye with coleslaw and Russian dressing.”
• “Proof Is In The Pudding,” from Magnolia Bakery: “Magnolia Bakery’s Iconic banana pudding gets a salted caramel twist, layered with vanilla wafers, fresh bananas and creamy pudding.”
• “Fin Loves Coco,” from Serendipity3: “Serendipity3’s legendary Frrrozen Hot Chocolate made with a secret blend of 14 exotic cocoas, chocolate cold foam, whipped cream, chocolate shavings, cookie crumble and a pinch of Maldon sea salt.”

How can fans visit the ‘Dun Dun Diner’?

Paid reservations get an upgraded Booth Service Dining experience inside the diner. It includes a choice of one featured dish, dessert, Law & Order merchandise and themed interactive touches inspired by the franchise. Fans with free tickets to the Grab & Go experience can pick up merchandise giveaways and take part in a themed photo opportunity.

This year’s experience coincides with NBC’s 100th anniversary. NBC and Peacock created it in collaboration with NVE Experience Agency. Reservations and event details are available on NBC’s official Dun Dun Diner hub.
