Adult Swim has announced President Curtis, a new animated series set in the Rick and Morty universe, starring Keith David. The series was revealed at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival by co-creators and Rick and Morty executive producers Dan Harmon and James Siciliano, alongside David.
What is ‘President Curtis’ about?
According to the official description, the series follows “President Andre Curtis (David) and his eccentric staff as they tackle the kinds of crises that Rick Sanchez could never be bothered with — from interdimensional diplomacy to paranormal investigations and unexplained phenomena.”
Adult Swim president Michael Ouweleen said in a statement, “There’s no better animation-loving crowd than Annecy, which makes it the perfect place to debut this new series. We can’t wait for everyone to see how great President Curtis is on his own when the series premieres next month!”

David voices President Andre Curtis alongside Stephanie Beatriz and Jim Rash. Harmon and Siciliano executive produce alongside Danielle Uhlarik, Monica Mitchell and Steve Levy.
When does ‘President Curtis’ premiere?
President Curtis premieres July 26 at 11:30 p.m. ET on Adult Swim, immediately following the Rick and Morty season finale, with episodes streaming the next day on HBO Max.
