Is ‘Beauty in Black’ getting a Season 4?
Yes. Netflix had planned to close out the series with Season 3, announcing that decision back in December, but changed course and ordered a fourth season before Season 3 had even premiered. Perry confirmed the news in an interview with Netflix’s Tudum: “Beauty in Black is back for Season 4, and the Bellarie family’s story is far from finished. There was so much more I wanted to explore, and I’m grateful I get to keep telling this story.”
Is Season 3 the final season?
No, even though Netflix originally marketed it that way. The streamer had positioned the Season 3 as the show’s ending before revealing that Season 4 got the green light.
Who dies in Season 3?
Kimmie’s younger sister, Sylvie, is the season’s one confirmed death. Jules catches up with her in the finale and kills her once she reveals the truth behind his son Glen’s death, TVLine reports, confirming it was Rain, not Sylvie, who caused Glen’s fatal fall while trying to protect her.
No one else’s death is confirmed, but the finale doesn’t let anyone off easy either. A shootout leaves both Kimmie and Mallory wounded, Norman and Horace turn on each other and both wind up in the hospital, and Roy’s condition takes a dangerous turn of its own. Does Roy die in Season 3?
His fate is left open. Roy spends much of the season in withdrawal after being locked up, at one point trading information for drugs, and ends the season hospitalized after taking an unknown substance from a fellow inmate, with no confirmation of whether he survives.
