Investigation Discovery (ID) is launching Deadly Women 2.0, a new version of its iconic true crime series Deadly Women, next week. Criminal psychologist Dr. Michelle Ward and criminal and forensic psychologist Dr. Rachel Toles participate in the episodes.
The original Deadly Women aired more than 600 episodes on ID. Per the network, Deadly Women 2.0 “will continue to dive into the motives, psychology and obsessions that led seemingly ordinary women to commit deadly crimes.”
Ward and Toles explore a variety of cases over the season, including custody battles, work rivalries that escalate to violence and romantic disputes, per ID. The season also features first-hand accounts from people close to the cases, and ID says it will go deeper into the psychology behind the crimes, including obsession, betrayal and relationship dynamics.
