‘Tyler Perry’s Sistas’ Drops Trailer And Sets October Return For Second Half of Season 10

,

Tyler Perry’s Sistas on BET is coming back for the second half of its milestone 10th season, which introduced two new series regulars while writing out two of the show’s original cast members.

Per the official description, the season continues as “The people they’d rather leave behind force their way back in. Buried truths surface, betrayals cut deep, and silence becomes its own kind of confession. By the end, no one comes through it unchanged, and the sisterhood is tested like never before.”

Sistas has been BET’s No. 1 scripted cable series among Black adults 18-49 for five straight years and No. 1 among all Black viewers for three consecutive years, per Nielsen data cited in the release.

KJ Smith, Black, Mignon, Crystal Reneé Hayslett, Jordan Coleman and Tunde Oyeneyin return as series regulars, joined by Angela Beyince, DeVale Ellis, Brian Jordan Jr., Chris Warren, Branden Wellington and Monti Washington.

Coleman and Oyeneyin joined the cast as new series regulars this season, playing sisters Cheyenne and businesswoman Madison respectively. Their arrivals came alongside the departures of Ebony Obsidian and Novi Brown, who had played Karen Mott and Sabrina Hollins since the show’s 2019 debut.

The series is produced by Tyler Perry Studios. Tyler Perry executive produces Season 10, with Courtney Glaudé writing and Armani Ortiz directing.

The second half of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 10 premieres Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 9 p.m. ET on BET, with new episodes airing Wednesdays.
