‘The Pitt’ Season 3 Releases First Teaser

HBO Max has released the first official teaser and first-look images for Season 3 of The Pitt, the Emmy-winning drama starring Noah Wyle, ahead of its 2027 return.

The teaser confirms Dr. Robby’s (Wyle) return to the ER after his sabbatical, with the character narrating, “I knew my first day back was gonna be… hard dealing with what we go through here. And I knew that it could get a little bit crazy. But it’s time to get back to it,” according to Variety.

Season 3 will be set on Nov. 12, 2026, the day after Veterans Day, per Variety. Wyle told Deadline the season will explore how Robby’s therapy has affected him: “We’re going to see that [Robby]’s begun the therapeutic road; it’s had a positive effect. It’s fragile, and it’s not without risk and vulnerability, but it’s at least there’s forward progress.”

What is ‘The Pitt’ about?

Per the official description, The Pitt is “a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh.”

The Pitt is produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. R. Scott Gemmill created the series and executive produces alongside John Wells, Wyle, Michael Hissrich, Erin Jontow, Joe Sachs, Simran Baidwan and Eli Attie. Season 2 earned 26 Emmy nominations.
