Prime Video has released the official trailer for Neagley, its Reacher spinoff series starring Maria Sten, with Alan Ritchson guest starring as Jack Reacher.
What is ‘Neagley’ about?
Per the official description: “Frances Neagley (Sten) is a private investigator in Chicago and former military protégé of Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice. Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.”
The trailer opens with Ritchson’s Reacher telling Neagley, “Looks like you had your hands full,” after finding her tackling a knife-wielding suspect, to which she replies, “You always have my back.” Neagley’s investigation into her friend’s death leads her to a farm employing recovering addicts and unhoused people, run by a charismatic figure played by Damon Herriman who behaves like a cult leader. As bodies begin piling up, Neagley vows revenge, declaring in the trailer, “I’m gonna burn that farm to the f***king ground.”
Who stars in ‘Neagley’?
Sten leads as Frances Neagley, alongside Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph as Renee Birdwhistle, Jasper Jones as Keno, Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow and Herriman as Lawrence Cole. Ritchson guest stars as Jack Reacher.
Based on the character created by Lee Child, the series is created by executive producers and co-showrunners Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton. Child, Don Granger, Sam Hill, Adam Higgs and Lisa Kussner also executive produce, with Hill directing the first two episodes. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios.
When does ‘Neagley’ premiere?
All eight episodes of Neagley premiere on Sept. 16, on Prime Video, following the Reacher Season 4 finale.
