A24 has released a new trailer for Onslaught, Adam Wingard’s action-horror film, following the film’s presence at Comic-Con over the weekend. The new trailer leans further into the film’s slasher elements ahead of its September release.
As we previously reported, the film reunites Wingard with frequent collaborator Simon Barrett, the duo behind You’re Next and The Guest, for a story following an Army sniper mother who must fight to protect her daughter when a rogue squad of genetically engineered super soldiers break loose in the desert. Dan Stevens, who previously starred in Wingard’s The Guest, told Deadline the film is “batshit,” teasing that fans of their prior work together will not be disappointed.
Arjona leads the cast alongside Stevens, Eric Wareheim, Reginald VelJohnson, Michael Biehn, Alex Pereira as the ominously named The Butcher, Drew Starkey and Rebecca Hall. Wingard directs from a screenplay by Barrett, based on a story by both.

Onslaught opens in theaters and IMAX Sept. 4.
