Da’Vinchi has joined the cast of Chicago Fire as a series regular for Season 15.
Deadline exclusively broke the news. The BMF and All-American alum will play Marcus Burke on the long-running NBC staple. The character is described as “a firefighter candidate at Firehouse 51. Roguish and funny with a wry sense of humor, he’s also a little defiant.”
Da’Vinchi joins returning cast members Taylor Kinney, David Eigenberg, Miranda Rae Mayo, Christian Stolte, Joe Miñoso, Hanako Greensmith, Jocelyn Hudon and Brandon Larracuent. The new season also brings a new showrunner, with Victor Teran taking over following Andrea Newman’s exit after 14 seasons, per Deadline.
Da’Vinchi is also set to star in two upcoming Tyler Perry projects for Netflix: the series Where There’s Smoke and the film Why Did I Get Married Again?
Chicago Fire is executive produced by Dick Wolf, Teran, Reza Tabrizi, Matt Whitney, Anastasia Puglisi, Rebecca McGill and Peter Jankowski.
