‘Spider-Noir’s New Trailer Dropped: What Else To Know About Series, Cast And More

The newest trailer for Prime Video’s upcoming series, Spider-Noir, dropped over the weekend at CCXPMX26.

Starring Nicholas Cage in his first major television role, the Prime Video series sees him voice the same character that he has in Sony’s Spider-Verse film series, though this series is considered to have a super direct connection to those films.

Who stars in ‘Spider-Noir’?

Alongside Cage, the series stars Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Abraham Popoola and Karen Rodriguez, with Jack Huston and Brendan Gleeson.

Guest stars include Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson and Kai Caster.

What is the plot of ‘Spider-Noir’?

Per the official description per Amazon MGM Studios, the series is based on the Marvel comic of Spider-Man Noir and “tells the story of Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage), a seasoned, down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city’s one and only superhero.”

Will ‘Spider-Noir’ air outside of Prime Video?

Yes, Spider-Noir is not only airing on Prime Video, but it will also air episodes on MGM+’s linear channel.

When does ‘Spider-Noir’ premiere?

Spider-Noir premieres May 25 on MGM+, two days before its May 27 premiere date on Prime Video.

The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television for MGM+ and Prime Video. Harry Bradbeer directed and executive produced the first two episodes.

Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot are the co-showrunners and also executive produce. They developed the series with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse team Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal.

Lord and Miller executive produce along with Aditya Sood and Dan Shear. Amy Pascal also executive producers via Pascal Pictures and star Nicholas Cage and Pavlina Hatoupis also executive produce.
