Apple TV has released the Season 4 trailer for Ted Lasso, with Jason Sudeikis returning as the beloved coach, ahead of the show’s August premiere.
According to the official description, this season, “Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”
Returning alongside Sudeikis are Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift. New additions for Season 4 include Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Grant Feely.
Jack Burditt also joins as executive producer under a new overall deal with Apple TV. Sudeikis executive produces alongside Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, Bill Wrubel, Burditt, Brett Goldstein and Leann Bowen. Bill Lawrence executive produces via Doozer Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television. The series was developed by Sudeikis, Lawrence, Kelly and Hunt, based on the format and characters from NBC Sports.
Ted Lasso broke records when it first premiered globally on Apple TV, becoming the most Emmy Award-nominated comedy series in its first season and going on to win back-to-back Emmys for Outstanding Comedy Series for its first two seasons.
When does ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 4 premiere?
Ted Lasso Season 4 premieres Aug. 5 on Apple TV with one episode, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through Oct. 7.
