Prime Video has released the trailer for Sterling Point, a new coming-of-age drama series from My Old Ass director Megan Park. The trailer features “Look at My Life,” a new single from Gracie Abrams’ upcoming album Daughter from Hell, releasing July 17. The series premieres next month with all eight episodes for the season.
What is ‘Sterling Point’ about?
According to the official description, the series follows “17-year-old Annie Jacobson (Rubin). Raised in New York City with her twin brother (Keen Ruffalo) and loving adoptive father (Jay Duplass), Annie’s life takes a turn when she inherits her mysterious grandfather’s island in Canada. There, she finds new friends, budding romances and untold family secrets.”
Who stars in ‘Sterling Point’?
Rubin leads the cast alongside Ruffalo, Duplass, Amélie Hoeferle, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Bo Bragason, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Nikko Angelo Hinayo, Mabel Strachan, Elle-Maija Tailfeathers and Missi Pyle.
Park serves as creator, co-showrunner and executive producer alongside Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage under their Fake Empire banner, and Dani Gorin and Tom Ackerley under LuckyChap. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Fake Empire and LuckyChap.
When does ‘Sterling Point’ premiere?
Sterling Point premieres Aug. 5 on Prime Video.
