Will Carl Radke Join ‘In The City’? Here’s What He And Lindsay Hubbard Said About That, West Wilson And More

Lindsay Hubbard sat down with Carl Radke on his podcast More Life with Carl Radke, meeting at Soft Bar to revisit their history, their rebuilt friendship and what comes next for the Summer House on Bravo alums.

Here are some of the highlights.

Will Carl be on Season 2 of ‘In The City’?

Fans have been vocal about wanting Carl on In the City. When Lindsay brought it up, Carl said, “There’s always a season two. I would love to be a part of it if they want me to, but we’ll see what happens. We did film here. Kyle and I’ve had a moment here. I don’t know if they’ll use it.” Lindsay left the door open, saying, “There is always a season two. I guess we’ll see what happens this summer.”

On the West Wilson and Amanda Batula situation

Lindsay’s “smoked out” comment from the Summer House Season 10 reunion came up. On where the phrase came from, Lindsay said, “I don’t know why I turned like full, like mob wife at that reunion. But I just like in my head, like, yeah, when you smoke someone out.” Carl agreed the analogy fit, saying, “It was honestly one of the best analogies for the situation because basically they were smoked out. The pressure was too high.” Lindsay elaborated, “There was so much internet and online pressure… by the time they announced like we had been through three rounds of rumors over like a month period and they couldn’t hide anymore. It’s like yeah, you got smoked out by all the rumors. So you might as well come clean.”

On the status of Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s friendship

The two followed each other on Instagram live during the recording. Lindsay said, “I feel like we are, we’re kind of back. We’re so back,” to which Carl replied, “You hear it? Yes! Fuck yes!” On what their friendship means to her now, Lindsay said, “Our friendship is giving me more life. I have really been enjoying this newfound friendship. And I feel like I can say confidently that. We are friends again.”

She also shared that she recently leaned on Carl during a hard night, saying, “I literally called you the other night, and at the end of my night, I’m hysterically crying and upset about crazy shit. And I was on the phone with Carl Radke, crying to him, trying to put Gemma down. That meant a lot to me.”

Carl reflected on their journey, saying, “I don’t think I could have believed that we’d be in this position now.” On their Labor Day closure conversation, Lindsay said, “I think that conversation that we had, Labor Day weekend last year, even if I didn’t even realize at the time, I think it was so necessary to have that closure. I needed it more than I understood or thought.” Carl added, “Rewatching it gave me like so much peace and warmth and I’m just really proud of like, you gave me the opportunity to talk and being receptive of that.”
