Jacob Elordi And Josh Brolin Star In Ridley Scott’s The Dog Stars’ — Trailer Out Now

Disney’s 20th Century Studios has released a new trailer for The Dog Stars, the latest film from director Ridley Scott. Based on Peter Heller’s bestselling novel, the post-apocalyptic thriller opens in theaters this summer.

What is ‘The Dog Stars’ about?

According to the official description, the film follows Hig (Elordi), “a young pilot who, together with a military survivalist, Bangley (Brolin), has carved out an efficient but isolated homestead in a brutal post-apocalyptic world. But when Hig receives a mysterious radio transmission, he ventures into the unknown in search of the hope and humanity he still believes exist.”

Who stars in ‘The Dog Stars’?

Alongside Elordi and Brolin, the cast includes Margaret Qualley, Allison Janney, Benedict Wong and Guy Pearce. Scott produces alongside Michael Pruss, Mark L. Smith and Cliff Roberts. Smith also wrote the screenplay. Lily Brooks-Dalton, Brandon Scott Smith, Peter Heller and Aidan Elliott executive produce.

When does ‘The Dog Stars’ open in theaters?

The Dog Stars opens in theaters Aug. 28.
