BET’s ‘Lot Patrol’ New Comedy Series With DeRay Davis And Carl Payne: Trailer, Premiere Date And What To Know

,

BET has released the trailer for Lot Patrol, a new mockumentary-style comedy series premiering later in June as part of the network’s Family Fun Night Tuesday comedy block.

What is ‘Lot Patrol’ about?

According to the official description, the series follows “a mismatched squad of eccentric security guards as they patrol the chaotic backlot of a major Hollywood studio, wrangling unhinged actors, rogue crew members, and their own wildly dysfunctional personal lives. Shot in a sharp-witted mockumentary style, the series blends absurd encounters, razor-sharp humor, and unexpectedly heartfelt moments, as it pulls back the curtain on the entertainment industry through the eyes of the people barely holding it together.”

Who stars in the series?

The ensemble cast features DeRay Davis, Carl Payne, Tamera Kissen, Darius McCrary and comedians Skeet Carter, TK Kirkland, Alex Thomas and Tanjareen Thomas.

Lot Patrol is created, written and produced by Manny Halley and Ernest L. Dancy in collaboration with Manny Halley Productions, a division of Imani Media Group. Erik White directs.

When does ‘Lot Patrol’ premiere?

Lot Patrol premieres June 30 at 10 p.m. ET on BET.
